At the National Congress of Camellias Australia held in Canberra recently Dr Stephen Utick was awarded the Walter Hazlewood Award of Honour, which is awarded for exceptional service to Camellias Australia.
Stephen’s dedicated work of identifying and labelling many hundred of camellias saw the International Camellia Society’s ‘Camellia Garden of Excellence’ awarded to the E G Waterhouse National Camellia Gardens in Miranda, New South Wales.
