C.r. ‘John Hunt’
We wish to advise of John’s passing yesterday. He was 89 years old.
John Alexander Hunt was a member of the Waverley Garden Club and Camellias Victoria.
He was the cultivator of the Phyllis Hunt, Tony Hunt and John Hunt camellias . He also recently was a recipient of the Charlotte Knox Reticulata Award from the American Camellia Society which was presented to him personally.

He was a passionate propagator and spoke highly of the many people he has come in contact with from the camellia community over the years.
The family is sincerely appreciative of the support given to John and the many years he enjoyed as a member of the camellia community.
